All in all, a great hotel. Location was fantastic - didn’t feel we needed many taxis only for the lazy day. The receptionist (name was Greg possibly?) was super helpful as we arrived and gave us a quick lowdown as to what we mustn’t miss while we were in Granada. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the reception staff. The room itself had everything one could need: we had a fridge (super nice touch in the middle of August); a super powerful hairdryer - a nice change from the weak ones you usually find in hotels. Shower was great and bathroom was kitted with full complementary toiletries. The room was very spacious with a sofa and an arm chair; superb ac that kept the room cool during August (39c). Lots of ample storage and spectacular views over the picturesque cobbled streets of Granada. We were lucky to have a beautiful view of Alhambra up above us. Finally, the room decor was modern alongside the respectfully restored old features of the building.

First and most important, the people. Concierge Grigor was most welcoming and helpful with local sights, food, and specifics on local transportation. Concierge Antonio checked us out with smiles and easy luggage storage so we could make the best of our last few hours in Granada. And the attached but independent café had many choices of delicious breakfast and lunch - from breakfast bowls with fruit to toasts with avocado, ham, and tomato. Great friendly service and café cortado too. The room we were in had a fantastic view of an Alcazaba tower and walls and buildings of the Alhambra above the Darro River. It was well-designed for spaciousness, quiet, and harmonious furnishings.

Large, beautiful room (superior with balcony) overlooking the stream and looking up at the Alhambra. Great cafe attached to the hotel lobby. Extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff though note that there is no staff onsite in the overnight hours. Ideal location - old town, everything is close by (be advised, this end of town is largely up and down hills wherever you go so plan accordingly). The Hotel is in the "no private car" part of town so you will either need to use a taxi or park outside and drag your luggage in from wherever you park (much like parts of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, except not so flat, lol). We loved it!

Antonio on the first day was very welcoming and gave us suggestions for eating and what to see . Together with an overview of the City. The room was well maintained and modern and the public areas where stylish with a modern twist on Andulucian style. Tea and coffee available on the landing which suited us. Great shower with lots of amenities. Toothbrush tooth paste, tissues shower caps, razor and good quality shampoo etc. Bed was comfortable as two singles. Seating area with water of first day and small bottle of wine. 3 different type of pillows. Strong shower and good hairdryer.

1. Guy at the reception desk is very friendly and attentive. He was there to help or provide guidance on Granada. 2. They have a complementary wine and two bottles of water at the room 3. The AC is not directly flows to the bed, so you decrease a chance of getting a cold 4. The beds are extremely comfy 5. The room was very clean and neat 6. The hotel itself looks interesting and combines old and new. Very nice. 7. The price was reasonable for a room with no view to the fortress. If we ever get back to Granada we'll try to book this hotel.
